Giving Back

qurnt Wellness was founded on the principles of honesty, compassion, and integrity. We strive to support our fellow humans on their journey to better wellness backed by science. It is our passion to provide products of quality to insure the best results possible.

qurnt Wellness was founded on the principles of honesty, compassion, and integrity. Our products are developed using patented processes ensuring the whole hemp plant is used. This preserves the integrity of the phytonutrients found within the hemp plant. These phytonutrients are the naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, terpenes, and antioxidant compounds that allow our organically grown hemp plant to be such a powerful support for our bodies. qurnt’s hemp is grown and harvested on a quiet Danish farm. With years of practicing organic farming and learning from new scientific findings, we are able to ensure that our hemp is of the highest industry standards. And, there are never any additives. Only the good, never the bad, to allow you to live your fullest life possible.

This year’s theme is empowerment through education. We invite you to check out this month’s cause and follow our journey as we highlight lasting and dignifying solutions to some of the world’s most daunting humanitarian concerns.

Q & A with Dr. Lori:

Q: What does qurnt mean to you?

A: qurnt was created out of a need to give my patients, and myself, “alternative” choices to traditional medical treatments. In my practice I was finding that so many people were coming in who were on all kinds of medication. I recognize that in today’s world we have a lot to deal with and that life can be *very* stressful. Still, I thought, there should be ways of managing this stress without relying on pharmaceuticals. I’d heard about the benefits of CBD years ago, did a boatload of research, and decided to see if I was able to experience the benefits of cannabidiol (CBD) myself. Once I was able to verify that CBD worked for me, especially in conjunction with my research, I felt comfortable suggesting CBD to my patients. And guess what? My patients are seeing the benefits, too! We are documenting improvements in better sleep. Patients are reporting being able to reduce their medications for anxiety or even totally eliminate their meds (please, speak with your medical care provider before removing medication from your routine). Headaches are managed as well as achy muscles. How exciting is that! Now, don’t misunderstand me. I am not saying the CBD is a cure all! It isn’t. But now that we know more about our body’s Endocannabinoid System (ECS), where our body actually produces and needs cannabinoids, we’ve learned that to help the body stay in balance we should be supplementing with cannabinoids (which CBD is one of).
qurnt was developed to help the body stay in homeostasis more naturally.
CBD to me is the support system. The science has discovered the ECS (endocannabinoid system) and that the body, under ideal conditions, produces what it needs. But we all know life throws unideal conditions our way. And that is why I founded qurnt, to help support our system.

Q: What does qurnt mean to you?

A: qurnt is synonymous with wellbeing for me.
With the new science and research that is coming out we know that our body actually needs cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, ETC.) for proper bodily stability, function and homeostasis.

Q: What does wellness mean to you?

A: It pretty basic, it means taking care of my body holistically. Having a feeling that “All is good” and that you’re grounded.

Q: What does holistic mean to you?

A: To me, it means you’re dealing with the whole body, taking into account your sleep, nutrition, physical well being, and spiritual wellness. The whole holistic view that your body is in a stable equilibrium between these elements.

Q: What is your view on pharmaceuticals?

A: Pharmaceuticals do have a place in our wellness. If you are so off balance that you have disease in your body, modern medicine and the medical advances have a place in our journey to better health. I believe there should be a blend of the two, a balance. It’s all about balance. I’m not going to tell you if you have a raging infection to slather lavender oil on it, it is only logical to address the critical issue with needed pharmaceuticals. It is important to treat each issue with the appropriate methods or options available to you.
